Watchmaker in demand

nowdays getting hard to find a watchmaker to repair less known or inexpensive watches like most of my watches, i understand from some very frank watchmaker told me they rather repair rolex or expensive watches, can charge very high,  even though the work are more or less. they simply hesitate to charge high for a simple obscure swiss brand watches, they rather not do it. so just to share to my fellow vintage watch fan out there it can be very costly to repair or service a watch. i tried to learn but just dont have the patience.
